Featured Exhibitor: Haack Shack Designs

Who are you and what do you do?
Haack Shack Designs is a family run print and design shop specializing in screen printed apparel. All of our designs are simple yet unique works and each item gets printed by hand, the old-fashioned way of silk screening. We aim to provide comfortable yet stylish graphic tees printed on ultra-comfy shirts that are perfect for everyday wear.

What has been your favorite moment since creating your business?
Finally, after five years was able to quit my other job and go full time with Haack Shack.

What are some inspirations for your work?
I take inspiration from a wide spectrum of interests, but a lot from music and literature figures.

What do you think sets your designs apart from others?
My eclectic offerings, I don’t limit myself to any specific niche, I carry about 20 designs at a time and have something for very broad groups of people.

What is the latest thing you have been working on?
This year I have been starting to do half tone printing for more of a realistic photo look, just with black and white photos for now, but hopefully full color soon, once I can get a new press.

What do your customers love most about your product(s)?
The uniqueness of my designs and the quality of my shirt stock I use.

What do you love most about craft show vending?
The community of vendors, meeting new people and just seeing how talented people are with what they love doing. Plus the market vending community is chalk full of friendly people that I typically have a pretty easy time getting along with.
