Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Lori Larson. I design and make wooden home decor.
What has been your favorite moment since creating your art/business?
I would have to say the first time I was invited to juried show was my favorite moment. To me, that meant that others like and appreciate what I do. It was the motivation to continue to grow.
What is the latest thing you have been working on?
My latest creation is a two season birch multi layer forest. On one side, there are stained fall colors on birch trees to represent our beautiful autumn season here in Minnesota. Once fall is over, turn the forest around and you will see only a white birch forest with two bright red cardinals representing our winter scene.
What will you be bringing to the Gift & Art Expo for attendees to purchase?
I will be bringing my forests, 36 different globe ornament designs, wreaths, lanterns, sleighs, trimmers, and more all made from wood.
